We're a constitutional republic, not a democracy. We've been a constitutional republic for over 200 yrs. Republicans want less federal govt involvement and give the power back to the states. When the power is in the hands of the states, voters make the decisions instead of the federal govt deciding for us. Republicans have turned more Libertarian. Liberal media has brainwashed people into thinking we're all going to die. Abortion rights weren't taken, the power was given to each state to decide where they are/aren't legal. Want an abortion? Vote for it in your state. Ever notice how liberals tend to have tons of diagnosed mental illnesses? Dems know its easy to prey on the weak, they're being pumped full of extreme propaganda. So many have gone off the deep end, some by unaliving themselves and their families....over an election....

If you're still republican, even one of those hold out "small government fiscal responsibility" people voting repuke after this, you're a psychopath. 10 years old, raped and people are still saying she should've been forced to have a baby. Americans have no more of a democracy than the Saudis do...American caliphate. Vile, sick fucking psychopaths.

Nine old people just stripped the rights of women across the entire country against the will of the majority of the public who support a woman's right to choose. If the US dares to call itself a democracy after this event, it is laughable. Not that it ever was. Clarence Thomas already talking about birth control and the morning after pill. The Handmaid's Tale is happening and it didn't even involve a terror plot. This is tyrannical.

So there's always grumbling from some people in my country about election fraud, but the few articles that pop up are not credible. In the US you have clear evidence of "missing" ballots, credible articles about 100,000 being purged from the voter rolls in error, clear voter suppression from strategic polling location choice, and open gerrymanding...even the term is hilarious, why can't it just be called fraud? I know it's a big country and it must be a total nightmare to arrange and carry out the election, but this shit is clear as day, everyone can see it. Even former Soviet Bloc countries are doing democracy better than the "Greatest democracy in the world" (which BTW there's an index for that, the US isn't in the top 20, all the Scandinavian countries right wingers love to criticise are though.) I hope nobody takes offence at this, it's disgusting you guys have to go through this, and it needs to be sorted the fuck out.

I am really and truly angry with everyone who voted for Trump. I have been reading books about Russia after the Cold War, oligarchy, the privatization of public services, the corruption, it goes on and on. I would suggest the book "Nothing is True and Everything is Possible" by Peter Pomerantsev for insight into the U S's future under Trump, along with other books on Russian history. Those who voted for this mockery of democracy should really be ashamed of what they've done. Of their ignorance. Of their regard for party over reality and what the U.S. stands for.
