I feel you. All of our expenses have gone up even more than that. Homeowners and car insurance in our state has skyrocketed - like doubled in the last 2 years. I've compared rates, and it's gone up across the board, so we're stuck with it. Shop around on your phone and internet. I have phone servive through T-Mobile, and my rates are guaranteed forever. It's been like 5 years, and they have never gone up.

Everything is finally coming together. Looks like my husband will be getting served with divorce papers next year for Christmas. I have wanted this forever and planning it for years. I have busted my ass to get to a place financially where I can do this. I honed my skills, got a certification and am now finally making enough money to support myself and stay in this house. He's going to claim to be completely blindsided even though I've expressed my unhappiness hundreds of times over the years. We've even seen a counsellor. He'll say the right things to them, so it looks like he's making an effort. Things will get slightly better for a couple weeks. Then he's right back to being useless. He contributes absolutely nothing to this family other than a paycheck and I don't need that anymore. If there's a way to do less than the bare minimum, he'll find it every time. Can't wait.

My dad is 88. Lives in supported care facility. Lately he’s been texting me of his maladies…dizziness, can’t sleep, leg cramps, leg swelling, and for the last three days almost constant nosebleeds and diarrhea. He lives an hour away so I scheduled lab work for me today that’s 5 minutes from him. I was to take him to breakfast, maybe a little shopping. Nosebleed so no breakfast. I called when I got done and he didn’t want me to come by. Now, three hours later, he thinks he should go to ER. I get on the road and twenty minutes in he says not to come. He’s all better. Lord help me be a good daughter and remember he won’t be here forever.

Sex is so unsatisfying. Not that I've had a ton of partners, and have been with my H forever now. But I've literally never had sex that was actually fulfilling. Is that a real thing, or just a book thing?

I am totally pro-mask, pro mask mandates, pro-vaccine, etc. But I think it's OK to lose the mask in most areas at this point. Our schools (Texas) were on spring Break three weeks ago. The COVID numbers still went down. My major city's numbers are down 90% over the past month and are considered "low" by CDC standards. My daughter's high school of nearly 3,000 students has had zero new cases in the past month. That's despite Spring Break and despite mask mandates being lifted. Out of an 11 county area of nearly 3 million people, there are currently only 38 people hospitalized for COVID. I think it's OK to relax the rules a little. COVID numbers will never be zero - ever. It's here to stay. But that doesn't mean that we have to stay in lock down or in masks forever.

Has anyone here had a COVID breakthrough case? There are no tests available near me, but I feel like I've been under the weather forever now. Fatigued, limbs feel heavy, mildly scratchy/sore throat, and some congestion. And I just feel off if that makes sense. Just wondering how long this mess is going to last. I'm being careful to try not to expose anyone just in case.

We're both in mediocre marriages, but our spouses aren't bad people. We love our kids. But the chemistry between us is palpable. I think about you all the time. In my mind, I have been with you 100 times. I want to cross that line so, so badly. And I absolutely know you do too. I'm glad we'll be working from home forever, because if we saw each other every day, were physically close to each other every day, we would. But we're also both good people and wouldn't risk our jobs or do that to our families. I was offered a job making way more money. I turned it down and didn't tell anyone. I can't bear the thought of not talking to you, laughing with you, every day, even if it's through a screen. I can't be with you and can't be without you. I don't know how this is going to end.

Mom Jeans- I have read that they are in style right now. Crazy, right? Well, I tried them on. They are a little different than what we used to call Mom Jeans. Those were relaxed fit and tapered at the ankle. I would never have any time in my life been caught dead in those, no offense! These were more just wide-leg pants. I bought two pairs. They are baggy in a good way, and I like them. Skinny jeans are uncomfortable and unflattering. I hope they go away forever. So yeah, I'm rocking the Mom Jeans! I'm an actual Mom, so I have no hope of actually looking cool, but I like them!

Men are stupid because they've been coached into believing they are superior and women are nothing but objects for thousands of years. You can see it now in how girls are thrashing boys in exams, because they know you have to work for what you want. Men have been encouraged to be infantile, lazy shits for basically forever and now it's shooting them in the foot. That's why you now have incels constantly whining (and occasionally murdering people) now that women have choices and don't want to bang men who have basically been educated to believe women will be falling at their feet. I'm really glad I'm bi, it means I can effectively just avoid them altogether, made that mistake too many times. There's plenty of issues amongst women, but men are just toddlers at this point.
